German caterers Bish Bash Bangers bring the authentic German currywurst & bratwurst to your event. Owner Katja Harchen, a true Berliner, and her team will make your event truly unique with the added original German touch.
I’ve been working with Katja (owner of Bish Bash Bangers) since 2013 now. We’ve been working really hard in making Bish Bash Bangers a cool, clean, funky, tasty, fun German sausage catering stall for all your parties and special events.
We’ve learned a lot along the way, each and every ‘lesson’ helping us to get better and better. We started with an idea (Katja’s) and a computer (mine) developing the business from scratch and not really knowing much about street food catering.
Some days later… and here we are, with a lot more experience and events in our pocket. Every Christmas party, every Oktoberfest, every market we’ve been to has been a great opportunity for growth and expansion.
At first we only had our gazebo tent - Katja only wanted ‘the best’ so she went out of her way to make sure we had a gazebo tent that would be loved by everyone. The design had to be good, I wanted to show the ‘Berlin’ attitude Katja had so many times told me about. I think we did pretty well!
We Pride Ourselves Particularly on These 3 Things:
1. THE LOOK
I don’t think there’s any other German sausages catering unit that offers such a funky, attractive design. It’s young and fresh but it still manages to cater for all types of parties and audiences.
It was really a lot of fun to design, Katja and I would get together at my place and sit in front of the computer tweaking this, changing that… She always trusted what I thought would be good for the brand. I’m glad 🙂
2. THE SERVICE
What can I say: Katja is German. She likes things ‘well done’. And so her service is always top-notch. You will find everything VERY clean, attendance punctual, all rubbish taken away with the team, and a very helpful team. This is very important to us!!
3. THE FOOD
You might be wondering why I left this one to last. The truth is that the other two are equally important: it’s all part of the experience.
Katja’s currywurst is fantastic, no doubt about that. She makes her own curry tomato sauce (she took ages to come up with the perfect formula) and I believe she’s keeping that a secret for good.
She likes to serve the dishes with love and care, making sure customers are very happy with every single bite.
Katja totally adores the currywurst culture; being German I suppose she wanted to bring it with her wherever she went.
She’s in the UK now and so the currywurst is here with her! Bratwurst & currywurst are synonyms of great cultural exchanges for me: we receive many emails requiring our services because people simply love a good currywurst in their mouths.
